After several decades of waiting and in response to the fan cries for a reunion of the classic Helloween line-up with Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen, the german band announced that the dream would become a reality and the band would tour around the world under the “Pumpkins United” banner, which acts as the name for a global trek that celebrates the legacy and contribution to heavy metal.
The tour is having an spectacular reception, rapidly filling up Madrid’s Wizink Center to the rafters for the December 9th concert. We will have one of the most eagerly awaited shows by metal fans at Rock Fest Barcelona.
Classic records such as “Keeper of the Seven Keys” (I&II), “Walls of Jericho”, “The Time of the Oath” and “Master of the Rings” will be represented in a long and comprehensive setlist in which Michael Kiske and Andi Deris will share vocal duties, while the guitar work will be shared bt Michael Weikath,Kai Hansen and Sascha Gerstner. Markus Grosskopf and Daniel Löble will round up the rhythm section in a line-up decided to bring the glory and legacy of Helloween all around the globe.
Helloween formed in Hamburg (Germany) in 1984, are considered the founding fathers of power metal. Now, as the 30th anniversary of the original ‘Keepers’ is happening, all the parts have united forces to make a successful reunion tour that will hit Rock Fest Barcelona for our delight.
