First, we’d like to thank you again for the big welcome this 2nd edition of Rock Fest Barcelona is having. While we keep working to confirm more bands for the billing this year, we are gonna let you know some details about the festival.
In a few days we will finally be able to inform you about where it will be located and how it will work for festivalgoers. As you know, it won’t be in Sta. Coloma. Anyone who wants to use the campsite will be able to do so with a permanent bus service that will go from the festival site to the camping area in about 15 minutes.
The concert area will have TWO main stages, where all artists will play. That way, no show will shadow any other show. Also, we are working on the timing distribution and details.
Even though the logistics are complicated, we are happy to work on a billing where most artists playing Can Zam from the 23rd to 25th of July are (or have been) headliners in a lot of festivals.
The Rock Tent will be there too this year. It will open mid-evening until 2 hours after the end of concerts. There you will have the best rock and heavy metal from all eras coming from the best DJ’s.
As in the last edition, there will be a tent where you will be able to meet and get stuff signed from some of the artists on the festival.
Kids under 10 will get a free ticket for the festival. And even better…this time all kids under 13 will be given a free official festival t-shirts.
Same as last year too, you will find a solidarity tent where you will have a chance to buy signed posters, pictures, t-shirts and concert passes, as well as all kinds of memorabilia for collectors. The income will be given to a social charity in agreement with the city hall of Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
When the bill is finished (that will happen shortly…) we will announce the band distribution and put day tickets on sale.
We have all your suggestions in consideration and, as we said, we take note of everything so we can improve it for this year. So, thanks again!
